Dr. Amelia Schildmeyer - Chiropractor

Dr. Amelia Schildmeyer was born in Santa Clara California and grew up in Salt Lake City Utah. She moved to Portland Oregon in 1993 and pursued an education in the field of fine arts through PCC and PSU. She decided to start a career in the restaurant field to support her young daughter as she was a single mother. Her career as a lead bartender and restaurant manager lasted 17 years.  After her successful career in this field, she decided to pursue her dreams and entered the doctor of chiropractic program at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon.  Dr. Schildmeyer graduated cum laude in 2016.

Dr. Schildmeyer completed her preceptorship and continued as an associate with Dr. Marian Fish, a highly accomplished doctor with 40 years of experience in the field of chiropractic. Dr. Marian Fish retired at the end of 2016. Dr. Fish passed as much knowledge as possible to Dr. Schildmeyer during the 6 months they worked together. They share similar views on the functional application of alternative medicine and chiropractic care. Dr. Schildmeyer is pursuing further accreditation in the field of functional medicine and functional neurology to compliment her doctorate in chiropractic.
